Phoenix, Things To Do
Jul 23, 2013 - 2 Fly Us Hot Air Balloon Rides
Here we go - up, up in the air! Doesn’t that sound like an awesome thing to happen – that you can go up in the air with no trouble at all? This can only be done with a trip to the 2 Fly Us Hot Air Balloon Rides. Sounds like a good trip to bring the whole family, isn’t it? Well, if you are long overdue for a vacation with your family, then this is totally THE place to go – it’s cool, it’s awesome, it’s fun and best of all, it’s for everyone! But wait, before you go can go up in the hot air balloon ride, you need transportation to get you and your whole family to Deer Valley Airport, Phoenix first – and what better way to do that than to rent a Phoenix bus and bring the whole family there? Yes, this will be a perfect trip for everyone – especially if you have never been on a hot air balloon ride before!
If this is your first ever hot air balloon ride, you will need to know that the best timing for hot air balloon rides are before the sun comes up or just right before the sun sets in the evening – and this advice comes from the professionals! When you are traveling in a Phoenix rented bus, you don’t usually look out of the windows of the bus to see the view outside, unless it is a slow drive on a beautiful, winding road (but that’s a story for another day!), so it doesn't really matter what time you get on the bus to get to your destination. But in this case, if you want to catch the sun rise in the morning, it would mean that you need to travel early in the morning to get to the site before the sun rises, so that when you are high up there in the hot air balloon, you will get to see the breathtaking view of the sun coming up.
Or, if you prefer a romantic evening sunset view, then remember to arrange with the Phoenix rental bus company to be sure to have their bus driver send you to the 2 Fly Us Hot Air Balloon Rides center before they take off in the hot air balloon for the sunset ride. As you arrive at the venue, usually the founder himself, Kevin Flanagan will welcome you and your family. Depending on the type of hot air balloon ride that you wish to sign up for, you could be sharing the hot air balloon basket with others or it could be just you and your family in it. Kevin and his assistant will take you through the process of what to expect and what to do (and not to do) when you are in the hot air balloon. Then you will be shown how hot air balloons are inflated, the lifting off and feel yourself “escalating” up in the air and when you catch the view from thousands of feet in the air – boy, the feeling is exhilarating!
